About Us

Hope Williams Hicks, CCE

Hope Williams Hicks is the proud mother of a sixth grade daughter who keeps her on her toes and grounded at the same time. She is a native of Raleigh who left a successful environmental CAD career to pursue her interests in medicine. She brings 8 years of EMT experience as well as 12 years of experience in a private OB/GYN practice. Hope is currently employed at a WakeMed Internal Medicine group. She is a certified childbirth educator. She has extensive experience with mothers and fathers of all ages and at all stages of parenthood.

When Hope isn’t working with expecting mothers (and fathers), she enjoys relaxing with a good read and exploring the great outdoors with her daughter.

Amanda Adams is a Raleigh native. She received a BS in Nursing from UNC at Chapel Hill and worked for 13 years as a Labor & Delivery nurse. This experience exposed her to a variety of high risk and more straight forward patients. Most recently Amanda works as an OB coordinator in a local OB/GYN office where she conducts new patient interviews, triages phone calls and makes referrals. Her rich background and time in the delivery room give her extensive experience with pregnancy and especially the labor process.

Her true joy comes from spending time with her husband and three children. She spends many hours carpooling the kids to school, baseball, and music lessons. In the few minutes she finds for herself, she enjoys exercising or sitting down with a good book.
